The smiles on these faces can only come from baby love. They are so geniune and sweet that I felt lucky to be a part of it. Because one thing I love about baby love is that it is contagious!

There is something so magical about the first weeks of life. Something that always keeps me in awe of it all.

Thank you three for a wonderful session.

There are days when being a mom feels like a cape wearing adventure. Wanting it all, every single day, for each one of my children. Trying to keep in balance all of their needs and schedules and not to mention the special cuddles in between. Every once in a while you meet a mom that inspires you. Completely and totally inspires you to the point that when you walk away you realize you can do it. You can do it all. I will share with you just how this Mom taught me that.

You see, sweet little K was ready to come into this world much before the world was ready for him. But he was determined and  day by day he showed the world what strength is. But not alone. He had an amazing Mom with him every step of the way. I was lucky enough to know her. Through each up and down she would have this amazing sense of peace and intuition. One day, in the middle of it all, she said something that has stuck with me. ” I just smile at him and show him happy every chance I get. I feel that if he looks up and sees me smiling he will know it is all okay”. Hearing that put it all in perspective for me. Show them happy. If they learn happy then they learn survival, strength, and how to overcome anything.

There is not a day that goes by that I dont think of those words. And when my cape is feeling worn and tattered I just show them happy.

Speaking of happy.

Don’t you see it just oozing out of these two? She is a SUPER Mom.

I absolutely adore six month olds. They have so much personality but they are still so little and precious! This little one is no exception. She has expressions to fill the spectrum. Her scrunched up smile is enough to melt anyones heart.  Then add a mix of sunshine and flowers and you have bliss.

This family is on their way home almost as I type. They came to live in Germany for a few years and now it is time for them to head back to Ohio. Imagine the love waiting for them when they arrive home with this sweet little one. Their family is in for a sweet treat.

When I realized the last time that I saw them that it would be our goodbye…the emotions started flowing. I tried to keep my composure as I said yet another good-bye. Something I will never get used to. But now I am happy to know that I have another friend in yet another place in this world! So thank you for the last few months and I will be stalking that fb page of yours for updates!

You already know I am a big fan of boys. Living in a house full of them makes me some kind of expert, I am sure. These boys were sleepy when we first met but by the end of the session we were all full of belly laughs!

Such a great way to spend a Saturday morning. I love the bond between this Dad and his boys.

I have known about this session for a very long time. In fact, immediately after her last session she called and booked this one. Her Mother was going to be visiting and she wanted me to capture her time here. I was so elated. I enjoyed my time with them all so much. The busy boys, the talks, and most of all the giggles. The love and bond of this family is so sweet. Sweet enough to bring you to tears. Trust me!  I cried a few as it made me miss my own Mom.

Here is a little of our fun.

The smiles, the little moments between Grandma and the kids, the memories that make visits from home so special.

Until Soon,
